Leo Snetsinger is an experienced Site Reliability Engineer with over 15 years of relevant experience in the health, wellness, and fitness industry. He holds a Master of Information Systems Management, 'with distinction' from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University, with a focus on Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management. Leo's areas of expertise include AWS (Codebuild, Codepipeline), databases, Ruby, Continuous Integration, Ansible, K8’s, and infra. He is a skilled engineer with a strong track record of building and managing complete CI/CD pipelines, creating AWS infrastructure for new applications, and automating the deployment of AWS infrastructure using Ansible. He has also worked on converting applications from server-based infrastructure to container-based AWS ECS (Docker) and implemented K8’s. Currently, Leo is a Senior DevOps Engineer at Jun Group, where he is responsible for managing and maintaining the company's infrastructure. Prior to this, he worked at Icario as a Cloud Engineer/DevOps/SRE, where he supported Ruby applications and their required infrastructure, managed releases for 14 applications, and implemented a Selenium Grid with 300+ nodes used for running pipeline tests on CI/CD pipelines. He also built a complete CI/CD solution, including a Delivery Dashboard that tracks and reports metrics on the activity of each application pipeline. Before Icario, Leo worked at Medtronic as a Lead DevOps Technologist, where he was responsible for managing software releases for Medtronic's Ecommerce Platforms. He created release testing environments using Puppet and managed the CI/CD platform using Jenkins. Leo's educational background includes a Master of Information Systems Management, 'with distinction' from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University, a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems-Technical Management from DeVry University, and Professional Education in MCSE from Bridge Data and Benchmark Computer Learning. He also holds an AAS in Information Technology from Hennepin Technical College and Professional Education in MCSE, SSIS, and SSAS from Benchmark Computer Learning.
